Having been to events like this in the past we’ve tried to make sure there are long, uninterrupted stretches for idea generation and coding up your prototypes. We’ll be filling out the agenda with a bit more detail as and when speakers are confirmed – any questions let us know

Day 1 – October 18th

9.30am – Registration and coffee

10am – Talks

– Shorthand on longform storytelling

10.30am – 12.30pm – Idea generation

12.30 -1pm – Talks

– David Brown, how the newsroom is changing

– Developing a tool for the newsroom: Low Pass / Ferret

1 – 2pm – Lunch

2pm – Sense check of ideas – a chance to discuss ideas with our journalists, developers and designers

2.30pm – 6.30pm – Working

6:30pm – Decamp to Corney and Barrow for complimentary food and drinks

Day 2 – October 19th

9:30am – Tea and coffee

10am – Start work

12.30pm – 1.30pm – Working lunch

3pm – Stop work, coffee break

3.30 – 5.00 – Group presentations

5.00 – 5.45 – Judging

5.45 – 6.00 – Prizes

6pm – Finish
